HAEi LEAP Application Process
We’re delighted that you – a young person and your Member Organization –
are interested in applying to be part of HAEi LEAP.
For more information on timings, and the time commitment expected from
students and Member Organizations, check the need to know page.

For the Youngster, please check you meet these criteria:
- Are you between 16 and 25 years old by application close?
- Are you a young HAE patient, caregiver, or family member?
- Are you a member of your country’s HAE organization?
- Are you able to communicate in English?
- Are you able to travel independently?
- Have you spoken to your Member Organization about HAEi LEAP, looked at our inspiration page, and have an idea for a project you can work on?
- Have you considered the timing of the program, and are you confident you can commit time to completing the education part between April and July 2024 and then a project between July and October 2024
Youngster: What do you need for your form?
Each youngster needs to complete a separate application form
For the Member Organization, please check you and your youngster meet these criteria:
- Have you spoken to the youngster, and their parent/Guardian if they are 16 or 17 years old?
- Is the young person a member of your HAE organization?
- Can the young person communicate in English?
- Can the young person travel independently?
- Have you and the young person looked at our inspiration page and have an idea for a project you can work on?
- Are you and the young person happy to apply together?
- Have you considered the timing of the program, and are you able to commit time to check in with the student during the education part and also support their project between July and October 2024?
Member Organization: What do you need for your application?
You can complete one application form for up to 4 students
